CDI Solutions has designed an innovative micro branch for the Bank of Zachary in St. Francisville, Louisiana, extending the bank’s reach to smaller communities around its primary service area. As the oldest chartered bank headquartered in the region, the Bank of Zachary has been a trusted institution since 1904, when it first opened on Main Street in Zachary, Louisiana. The bank’s ethos is embodied in its distinctive logo of four geometric shapes, symbolizing its dedication to customers, staff, shareholders, and the community—a commitment collectively known as the “Bank of Zachary Way.”
Modern Design
This micro branch departs from traditional drive-through formats, focusing on a streamlined, customer-centric experience. The transitional interior design blends modern elements with the bank’s historical context, creating an inviting atmosphere. Features such as herringbone-patterned wood flooring, reclaimed brick walls, and cypress beams harmonize with vibrant feature walls to reflect the community’s character and the bank’s forward-thinking approach. Local photography prominently displayed throughout the branch further connects the design to the community, showcasing images of the surrounding area captured by local artists.
Customer-Focused Features
The branch’s teller line incorporates Teller Cash Recyclers (TCRs), enhancing transaction efficiency while fostering authentic, personal interactions between tellers and customers. In addition to this innovation, the branch includes private offices designed for account openings and lending consultations. These thoughtfully appointed spaces ensure privacy, comfort, and functionality, providing an elevated experience for customers during financial discussions.
A Welcoming Environment
Lounge areas feature residential-style furniture that blends seamlessly with the branch’s transitional design, offering a home-like ambiance that resonates with the surrounding community. To further reflect local values, CDI Solutions sourced furniture for conference rooms and check-writing stands from local businesses, using reclaimed and refinished pieces. This not only supports the community but also reinforces the bank’s focus on sustainable, community-centered practices. Employee satisfaction is also prioritized, with private offices and break rooms designed to offer modern amenities and a serene workspace, promoting productivity and well-being.
