For over 75 years, Metairie Bank has been a community cornerstone, renowned as the "Bank of Personal Service" and rooted in core values of commitment, respect, honesty, and teamwork. To reimagine their branch locations, Metairie Bank enlisted CDI Solutions to create a cohesive "kit of parts" design. This innovative concept not only refreshes existing branches but also serves as a prototype for future constructions, ensuring a consistent brand identity across all locations.

The newly designed Covington, Louisiana, branch exemplifies this vision. Customers are greeted by a striking two-story entry vestibule, where brick and metal paneling create a seamless transition between exterior and interior. The extensive storefront glazing floods the space with natural light, while ensuring visibility throughout the branch. This transparency allows branch managers, tellers, and customer service representatives to maintain a clear line of sight to customers, enhancing both security and engagement.

Inside, the lobby balances functionality and aesthetics. A centrally placed check-writing stand doubles as a queuing line for tellers, optimizing the flow of traffic. The branch includes three traditional teller desks and two ADA-compliant service stations for account openings and other services. Private offices, enclosed in full-height glass, promote transparency and allow natural light to permeate the space. This design fosters a welcoming environment while reinforcing Metairie Bank's core values of honesty and integrity.

The lobby offers a lounge seating area with chairs arranged around a coffee table featuring charging stations, catering to modern customer needs. A prominent feature wall, equipped with a TV and a display counter, is designed to showcase monthly promotional campaigns. These thoughtful additions keep customers informed and enhance their overall experience.

Incorporating Metairie Bank’s branding was integral to the design. Finishes include neutral carpet tiles with a subtle hexagon motif, warm woodgrain luxury vinyl tile, and quartz surfaces. Light fixtures echo the hexagon shape from the bank’s logo, ensuring cohesive branding throughout. Custom millwork addresses functional needs, such as the 3-person teller desk with frosted privacy panels for secure transactions. To future-proof the design, CDI Solutions introduced removable storage units, which can be replaced with Teller Cash Recyclers (TCRs) as technology evolves.

The new branch design reflects Metairie Bank’s commitment to customer experience and community engagement. CDI Solutions’ "kit of parts" provides a scalable template for renovations and new constructions, ensuring the bank's identity and values are consistently communicated. This prototype design sets the standard for future projects, solidifying Metairie Bank’s dedication to the communities it serves while adapting to the evolving needs of its customers.
