The Lumi Garnet project showcases CDI Solutions' expertise in transforming a compact retail space into a luxurious and highly functional spa environment. Spanning 1,320 square feet, this project skillfully utilizes warm, natural materials and clean, monolithic forms to create a cohesive design that radiates tranquility and sophistication.

The design ethos for Lumi Garnet's Coastal Elegance Spa centers on evoking a sense of calm and relaxation through thoughtful material selection. The subtle color palette's soft neutrals and gentle earth tones enhance the serene ambiance. Key materials, such as seagrass-infused acrylic panels and natural wood finishes, add texture and visual interest layers. These elements elevate the aesthetic appeal and align with the spa’s mission to provide a rejuvenating atmosphere for its guests.
Given the high rent associated with prime retail locations, maximizing space utilization was critical in this project. CDI Solutions strategically integrated custom millwork and perimeter storage cabinets, ensuring ample storage while maintaining the overall design aesthetic. These solutions provide practical storage for spa essentials without sacrificing valuable floor space, allowing more room for guest services and improving the spa's operational efficiency.
Lighting is pivotal in defining the guest experience at Lumi Garnet. CDI Solutions employed a variety of specialty task lighting to meet the needs of different areas within the space. With a touch of Miami Beach-inspired glamor, LED pendant lights provide efficient task lighting, minimizing shadows and reducing heat gain. Articulating wall sconces are strategically placed to offer optimal lighting for detailed tasks, improving functionality and enhancing the overall comfort for both guests and staff.

The main entrance is designed with open-sight lines, allowing guests to view the services available immediately. This openness creates a welcoming and engaging atmosphere, encouraging interaction between guests and technicians. At the heart of the spa is a product bar that serves as a focal point, defining the axis of the space. The bar offers refreshments to guests and houses essential tools for technicians, including storage for products, sanitation equipment, and refrigerators.

The mani-spa stations blend innovation and style with features that enhance functionality and guest experience. Each station has integrated downdraft fans to improve air quality, ensuring a comfortable environment. Stainless steel manicure bowls with removable acrylic lids and built-in nail drying ports add a practical yet stylish touch. Further enhancing guest convenience, the stations include purse hooks and USB/electric ports for charging electronics.
Another standout feature is the custom-designed pedicure chairs, which embody the spa’s commitment to nurturing the body, mind, and spirit. These state-of-the-art chairs are recessed into niches adorned with three-dimensional "wave" panels inspired by the coastal theme. This thoughtful design not only reinforces the spa's aesthetic but also accommodates the plumbing and ventilation requirements of the pedicure chairs. Specialty color-changing LED lighting integrated into the base of each chair adds an immersive, soothing ambiance that enhances the guest experience.
CDI Solutions paid meticulous attention to detail throughout the project, ensuring that every design aspect promotes cleanliness and organization. All tools and supplies are carefully concealed at the mani-spa stations, maintaining a tidy, uncluttered environment that allows guests to relax and enjoy their spa experience fully.
