Honoring New Orleans Culture
CDI Solutions recently completed a comprehensive interior renovation of the Hotel St. Marie, a historic gem in New Orleans' French Quarter. Located steps from Bourbon Street, the hotel is renowned for its wrought iron balconies and timeless charm. Our goal for the project was to integrate modern amenities while preserving the hotel’s historic character, creating a design that respects its legacy and meets the expectations of today’s guests.
Blending Comfort with Ellegance
The renovation included a meticulous restoration of all 107 guest rooms, now redesigned to reflect the ambiance of the French Quarter. Each room features traditional décor, antique reproduction furniture, and a neutral color palette that creates a calming environment. Select guest suites offer balconies with views of either the lively street scene or the serene tropical courtyard, enhancing the New Orleans experience for every guest.
Crafting Custom Furniture
To retain the hotel’s historic charm, CDI Solutions designed custom furniture and millwork, including headboards, desks, and coffee stations, that were tailored specifically for the hotel’s aesthetic. Each piece combines style and durability, honoring the building’s character while addressing the practical needs of a modern hospitality space.
Renovation with Ease
Careful planning was essential to maintain the hotel’s operations during the renovation. CDI Solutions coordinated the complex logistics of procuring and delivering custom furniture to minimize disruption for guests. By working closely with the hotel team, we implemented a phased renovation plan, ensuring portions of the hotel remained operational and allowing the hotel to continue serving its guests.
